"OCCUPY WALL STREET" - WHERE ARE THE CARPENTERS?

PISSEDOFF IN JOYSEY
WHERE ARE THE CARPENTERS ON THE "OCCUPY WALL STREET" PROTESTS?
WHY HAVEN'T WE HEARD AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM T.P.T.B. IN WASHINGTON???
WHY CAN'T THE USUAL SUSPECTS IN NYCDC, NJ OR EMPIRE STATE GROW SOME BALLS????

WHY AREN'T UNION CARPENTERS STANDING WITH THE OTHER 99% IN NYC & NJ??

NEW ENGLAND CARPENTERS ARE AT "OCCUPY BOSTON" - http://twitter.com/NERCC/statuses/124850534741061632

PACIFIC NORTHWEST CARPENTERS ARE AT "OCCUPY SEATTLE" & "OCCUPY PORTLAND" -

WHAT'S MC MORRON & "SPINELESS" SPENCER WAITING FOR?
ARE THEY AFRAID TO ALIENATE THEIR WALL STREET CRONIES?
DO THEY HAVE MORE AT RISK THAN THEIR FAT UBC PAYCHECKS?

Joint Statement by NYS AFL-CIO President Denis Hughes and NYC CLC President Vincent Alvarez
on Occupy Wall Street:

"The New York State AFL-CIO and New York City Central Labor Council unequivocally support the rights of the participants of Occupy Wall Street to express their point of view. As such, the labor movement strongly opposes any attempt to silence their voice, and by extension, the voice of 99% of working Americans dissatisfied with our current economic system and the unlevel playing field everyday working Americans are confronted with.

Occupy Wall Street participants should be allowed to continue to peacefully protest the issues, in particular, speaking out against an inequitable economic system tilted in favor of this country's top 1 % of wage earners. The labor movement in this city and state will continue to support their cause until the long term economic needs and concerns of working people are addressed."

WHAT PART OF THE MESSAGE DID YOU NOT COMPREHEND MR DAVENPORT?

THE ATTACHED ABOVE LINKS CLEARLY PROVE THAT OTHER COUNCILS ARE OFFICIALLY CALLING THEIR MEMBERS TO RALLY IN SEVERAL CITIES. DO YOU MEAN TO SAY THAT THEIR PROJECTS ARE NOT FINANCED BY BANKS & BIG BUSINESS? ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT NYC CARPENTERS HAVE NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY WALL STREET'S AROGANT GREED & CORRUPTION? LET'S BE REAL HERE. IF THERE'S ONE THING THAT A NYC CARPENTER SHOULD KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT'S GREED & CORRUPTION. RIGHT??

WHEN DID THE CARPENTERS BECOME SO MUCH WISER THAN ALL OTHER UNIONS?

IF BANKS AND BIG BUSINESS ARE SO GOOD TO THE UBC, WHY ARE SO MANY OF US OUT-OF-WORK?

Davenport sounds like a cheese eating rat.

A wormtailed, wage slave, serf of the 1%, content to scavenge for their scraps.

I occupied Saturday with the 99%.

I don't wait to get marching orders from McCarron to stand with the people.

I'm a 10 year UBC member, but I am no McCarpenter.

I take great pleasure in the fact that I voted against that rotten, corrupt, SOB at the UBC Convention.

Maybe it's time to Occupy the UBC.

Demand McCarron:

* Get out of bed with Diane Feinstein, Richard Blum and Wall Street
* Stop raiding other trades work
* Re-affiliate with the AFL-CIO
* Restore democratic rights of UBC members
* Get the UBC on the streets occupying in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the 99%

That would entail organizers  having to do real work for the social good but the powers that be will never make a decision to back the protesters. They just dont give a shit about people as they have shown for a couple of years. We have become pussies and the rest of Labor laughs at what we have become. We used to stand for the downtrodden and screwed around, now we raid their work and have butterbean standing up for the fucking Banks . We're fucked!

Guess I struck a nerve. I stand by my comments. You sound like a cheese eating rat.

BTW, I've confronted McCarron about corruption and how the membership is getting screwed in the UBC, face to face.

You have no idea who you are dealing with and I like it that way because it drives you crazy, you come unhinged, act the fool and are exposed for what you really are.

One more thing, I've never worked non-union and have always stayed current on my dues as a member in good standing my entire career as a Carpenter, even during the worst recession in my lifetime where work has been the worst it's ever been, no matter how much I or my family has had to suffer and sacrifice to survive. That's more than "Cash" McCarron can claim about his career as a Carpenter. How about you?

One more question for you and McCarron:

These protestors aren't getting paid anything to protest, how about UBC protestors?

Photobucket

The most unpaid UBC protestors I've seen are UBC members protesting the UBC outside union halls.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1JyXaUQFnw8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

UBC organizers are just glamorized, overpaid babysitters for low wage slave paid protestors they hire off the street and don't give any benefits. The asshole organizers in my neck of the woods were going to 1099 these paid protestors, until I raised hell about it and shamed them into at least paying into social security and medicare for these people they are exploiting.

Your dues money hard at work.

Re: "OCCUPY WALL STREET" - WHERE ARE THE CARPENTERS?

You didn't answer my question.

Let me get this straight, you say these protestors are taking drugs so they are "madness for madness[sic]" sake?

Hmmm, well what does that say about sycophantic sell out corporate suck asses like you and UBC CEO McCarron who stood by and turned a blind eye to his loyal McCarpenters union cappo Mike Forde and his crew turning the NYC hall into a drug den and a chamber of corruption robbing members of their pensions and rights under the UBC collective bargaining agreements that they were supposed to be enforcing while taking bribes to look the other way? This is just one example out of many of the criminality and corruption that permeates the UnAmerican Bondagehood of McCarpenters.

But since you mentioned it, the War on Drugs is true "madness for madness[sic] sake". It is Vietnam on steroids. An epic misguided FAIL that has turned a public health crisis that should be solved through taxation, regulation and treatment into a wild west war on people that tears families apart which only profits organized crime cartels, corrupt cops, corrupt politicians and lawyers, just like prohibition. Of course back then, they didn't have private for profit prisons eager for a steady stream of largely non-violent, more easily manageable offenders with zero tolerance mandatory minimum lengthy sentences that are predominately selectively enforced on the poor and minorities to be capitalized on as a commodity to maximize their profit margins while the violent offenders, the toxic assets for the private prisons are released early back into the public. You should think about this next time you pop open a cold one and before your big mouth exposes your small mind.

I guess I only got it half right, you're not just a cheese eating rat, you are a fucking fascist hypocrite. You should probably stop banging your head against the wall, it seems to be causing brain damage

As far as illegal aliens go, they are my generation's scabs, economic jihadists(along with sellout UBC employees) who make our profession more dangerous, less secure, less respected, pay poverty wages with no benefits to help provide a better future for our families and future generations and who make the 1% astroturf (un)American aristocracy that you and McCarron pray to the altar of filthy rich and powerful. They are the toadies of the plutocracy who undercut the American Dream by cutting to the front of the line of Legal Immigrants and reduce the wages and opportunities for out of work Americans.

Employ the 99%
Make Employers E-Verify

Real American Employers/Unions E-Verify

This is the best system in the world, but it is broken, in need of repair and the 99% are here to fix it by breathing life back into this dying democracy.

God is blessing America with these protests and walking with these protestors because:

It's not about Race
It's not about Religion
It's not about Revolution
It's not about Right or Left
It's about Right, Wrong and Reform to restore power back to where it has always been intended to be before our Democracy was perverted by Wall Street and the 1% Plutocracy, with we the people. It's as patriotic as Apple pie and the 4th of July. It is a divine awakening of the American spirit to save it's soul.

No matter how much our integrity is slandered, our humanity is doubted and our patriotism is questioned, we will not stop fighting to preserve the promise of this great nation by returning the power to the people.
We are the 99%
We will occupy and overcome.

P.S. You didn't answer my question.

The OCTOBER 24TH SHOWS WILL SOON BE HERE :-)))

..."The seizure of power is the business of the uprising; its political purpose will become clear after the seizure....
...It would be an infinite crime on the part of the revolutionaries were they to let the chance slip, knowing that the salvation of the revolution, the offer of peace, the salvation of Petrograd, salvation from famine, the transfer of the land to the peasants depend upon them.
The government is tottering. It must be given the death-blow at all costs."...

You tell em. Just because we are in a union doesn't mean we have to vote what we are told.
