Vote on CBA's Should be delayed until special called meetings.
As with any contract that involves the livelyhood of the membership within it there should be special called meetings to inform all, at each local. The new EST has the ability to Schedule these meetings and should do so, to inform the membership of the horrors of the new CBA's. If the new EST does not schedule these meetings it means he does not care about the membership and their right of due process. To rush these CBA's through without full membeship scrutiny would be a crime against the membership, and it will be a part of the EST's legacy never to be forgotten by the membership. If these special called meeting are not provided you will know what side the new administation sits on, that of Doug Mcarron's. A special called meeting is a way to show that the new administration cares about the members and their futures. The meetings should be held. The members should be fully educated about the CBA's. A secret ballot election should be had these local meetings for or against these contracts. The votes should be tallied and the results should be presented to the delegates of each local. The delegates after being presented the results of the secret ballot election(the will of the majority) should proceed to take that to the council for a delegate vote. Any other way would be corrupt.
